Tuesday....and my heart is heavy

Guys, I'm just so sad today. I'm not sure if you heard about what's going on at HF.  I talked briefly about it yesterday, but we are going to talk about things again today.   I think there is such a profound and important lesson to be learned here.

Mine was great!  Much needed quick trip to Florida, baseball opening day, and low-key Easter with friends.  

19 for 19...Update?

We are now well into April of 2019.  Back in January, we all made our 19 for 19's.  How's yours going?  Here's my update....

Do more with the Cricut - eh...not so much
Learn Podcasting - I'm reserving that for Summer
Unsubscribe from emails - I've done some, but not all
Playlists - I've made a few
2 new dinner recipes a month - I've probably done this without even trying, but it's been on accident, not because it's on my list
Read 12 books - I'm in the middle of a book (#1) right now, but I'll probably read one at the beach next week
Get rid of U-Verse - Not yet.
Get a chair for my bedroom - DONE!
Mexico for Christmas - We'll see.  I'm thinking we might be in a new house by then.  Maybe this Christmas isn't in the cards.
12K steps per day - Sometimes, but def no more than yes
YB done on time - I think this will happen, but it will really have nothing to do with me.  My editors are ROCK STARS this year and taking care of everything.
Re-vamp all my curriculum - That's this summer
Pay off one credit card - DONE!
College Visit - This summer...
Clean up Google Drive - Coming along
Insta/Snap - No...but I did post something on Insta this morning
Build a Terrarrium - There is a class coming up...I'm thinking of joining it.
Text my Aunt Pam more - I'm visiting her next week!  Yay!
Family Games - 1x per week - sometimes...we always play cards when we are in a restaurant..and we did this last night
Find a pair of jeans that fit really good - I did find a pair!

Happy Monday!  Spring Break is almost here!!!!

It was SO nice out this weekend.  I was super excited to open my windows and get the boy smell out of my house and get some fresh air in!  

I met the Cardinal on Friday.  Such a nice and gracious man with a good sense of humor.  

Saturday was the baseball fundraiser.  Good times, money raised, and I won three of the raffles.  AND THE CUBS WON!

Yesterday was just a bunch of errands, but it was nice out so it didn't matter.

I don't have any feeling one way or the other about tonight's game, so I'll say go Virginia...because Ethan Short will win?  

Grievance Thursday!

SO many grievances to air today...

This event I'm heading up for Saturday is turning out to be a bust.  Not many tickets sold. My committee is lackluster.

My house smells like boys. 

I didn't win the Queen of Hearts last night.  A winner was picked...and they picked MY NUMBER!  #42

My socks keep falling down in my shoes.

Other random grown up stuff.

There is more, but I need to keep a lid on this and not be TOO negative.

So, my son was less than enthusiastic about his "Toy Yoda" yesterday...haha! You can sense his eye-roll, right??

Anyhow, on to today's blog....  

It's BASEBALL season!  What team do you cheer for?  Cubs or Sox?  Northside or Southside? Blue or Black? 

Cubs for me!  They are starting with a crapola record at the moment, so we won't talk about that.  I think I'm going to get this shirt for myself for my Easter basket...

Do you play any April Fool's jokes?  I usually don't, but I'm doing one this year.  My younger son came up with it.  I'll tell you about it.

How was your weekend?  Mine was fine.  We made a lot of money Friday at the Fish Fry, Notre Dame was cool and fun, but really cold and rainy, and my bracket is BUSTED!  Go MSU!
