Nick's 12th birthday party at the bowling alley took up my Saturday....

Sunday was lazy.  I spent the day in my recliner grading papers and doing St. Joe's basketball work.  

My kids had school yesterday, so my husband took the day off and we went to downtown Naperville to do some shopping and have lunch.

I hardly feel like the snow outside represents the scene in my Bitmoji...but it's cute...and it's Friday...and I feel good about it!

Today I'm feeling good that the next two weeks are partial weeks.  

No school Monday!

Birthday party for my youngest tomorrow - Bowling!

My aunt (Auntie Pam!) got me one of those sweatshirt/blanket things.  She's a bit addicted to QVC.  Anyhoo...I'm looking forward to spending my weekend in that thing!  It's SOOOOOO cozy!

I think I'm a fairly decent cook.  I make killer Jambalaya.

Friday we celebrated my younger son's birthday.  He turned 12 on Saturday, but he went away for the weekend for another birthday party.  

Saturday wound up being an impromptu date night for Mr. Cal and I, as I scored SUPER CHEAP tickets to see Jo Koy at a sold out show at the Chicago Theatre downtown.  He is HILARIOUS!  Check him out if you have the chance!  

St. Joe's Basketball kicks off tonight with open gym....so it's officially basketball season in the Cal household.

Happy Friday, Everyone!  What are you feeling good about today?

Tomorrow is my son's 12th birthday.
NO sporting events to attend this weekend.  Not that I don't like going to them.  It's just one less thing on the agenda, so that's always good!
Hanging out with my girlfriends on Sunday.  Going to an artisan market and then to a fundraiser.
