Freezing Feel Good Friday!

Happy Friday!!  

I know, I know...it's cold.  Other schools are off.  But you are fine.  You're old enough to put a hat and coat on and we have heat in the building.  You will survive.  Wait until next week.  We will likely have a day off next week if the forecast plays out like it's predicted.

It's FRIDAY!  What are you feeling good about today?  Since I've been out on field trips this week, I feel like I have a TON of paperwork/desk stuff to do today.  

It's yet another weekend of youth sports in the Calomino house.  Hockey game tonight, working baseball registration tomorrow, baseball tournament..yes...BASEBALL (indoor turf tourney), hockey game tomorrow night, baseball tournament again on Sunday.  And there's my weekend.....

It's all good, though.  I LOVE my baseball family, so it will be good to be with my faves this weekend.

Gold Stars and Demerits

Which one?  Demerit for me....

I still have two packages I need to mail that have Christmas gifts.  One to my favorite Auntie Pam and one to my dad's wife.  I bought them gift cards, wrapped them up all cute, etc.  They are even sitting in the padded mailing envelopes.  I just have to have my kids write the thank you cards for their gifts and stuff some school pictures in there.  That's it!  I'm going to put it on my priority list this weekend.

Happy HoCo Week!  Every single hallway looks AWESOME!  I know the class officers and cheerleaders were here ALL weekend decorating.  Make sure you let them know how awesome everything looks. 

This weekend FLEW by!  Another late hockey game for my oldest last night.  Didn't get home until almost midnight.  I'm SUPER tired today.

I have a birthday party tomorrow night with friends.

My oldest has a hockey game Sunday in Darien, so I think I'm going to head to IKEA on the way!

Welcome Back!

Happy 2019!  Welcome Back!  How was your break?  I'm a bit salty about being back. My kids were still in their beds sleeping this morning.  They don't go back until tomorrow.  They started break before me and go back after me.  😠

Mine was great.  I didn't do a whole lot of anything exciting, and that was the plan.  I made a special point to be a bit of a slug over break....and once this past weekend rolled around....I sort of freaked out because I was a slug over break!  I got the things I wanted to done, with the exception of ALL of my grading.  I got most of it done, but not all of it.  I just need to enter it in.  I watched a LOT of TV.  I feel like I've been watching Gilmore Girls since June, which is probably correct, but I watched a ton of it over break and I'm only on season 6.  I watched a few movies.  Bird Box...did you watch??  And Sweet Baby Jesus...that stupid game last night.  The best meme I saw last night was this one...
