Monday...the LAST one!!!!!

 Finals Week!  We did it!

How was your weekend?  I'm not even going to ask about goals.  I know what they are!

My weekend was busy!  Prom, Confirmation, Graduation, Deck building....lots of stuff!

Here's what I'm feeling good about today...

• My pool is filled, filter is hooked up and running, and the solar cover is on!  It's too cold to go into right now, but maybe I can swim on Sunday afternoon after graduation?
• My son was awarded a scholarship on Wednesday night from the HF teacher's association.  Yay!  
• Prom is Saturday for HF
• Sunday is Confirmation for my youngest.  
• BHS Graduation!
• I think I'm planting some flowers this weekend!
• I'm meeting a few of my girlfriends for breakfast in a little bit.
• We are ALMOST done!

Tasty Tuesday

If you had a "signature" sandwich, what would it be called and what would you put on it?  

Mine would be called the BCal.  It would be on crusty Italian bread with Italian dressing, salami, Italian green olives, shredded lettuce, and a sliced tomato.  I'd serve it with a side of salt & vinegar chips and a HUGE glass of water to flush out all the sodium that was just consumed.  Yum!

Motivational Monday - Weekend Wrap Up

 Happy Monday!  

Weekend FLEW by!  Was at my son's baseball tournament in Bourbonnais all weekend.  Yeesh, yesterday we we left our house at 10AM and didn't get home until almost 10PM.  Made it to the semi-final game.  Oh well...they were tired, it was their 3rd game and the parents were ready to go home!

Goals for the week - Grad Program!  Need to get that done.

My score was 3:09.  I had a few ten second penalties from where I just didn't click in the exact spot and was off a bit, plus I needed a hint for the last one.  How long did it take you?

Tuesday - Charities?

If you had a million dollars to donate to a charity (or charities), what would you donate to? 

My first one would be Save The Manatee.  It's no secret manatees are my spirit animal and I just love them.  They are a bit of a dying breed, though.  

I also think I'd donate to local organizations as well.  I'd donate to Homewood Baseball, set up a scholarship fund at BHS, and lastly, I think I would like to fully fund something like Respond Now's Holiday Shop, or something like that.

Monday! Last one for SENIORS!

 How was your weekend?  Mine was fine.  Uneventful. Lacrosse game that I never got to see...thought it was a home game, wasn't.  Drove to Lincoln Way East.  Then figured out that the game was moved to Lincoln Way West.  Then got a call that Jack was injured.  He's fine, but was told to just turn around and go home. So...quarter of a gas tank later..lol.

In-laws have arrived.  They were at my house Saturday AND Sunday.  So, that begins...

Mother's Day was nice.  Even though it was cold and rainy, still got stuff accomplished, had a yummy dinner, was able to get some work done, and went to bed early and watched TV in bed.  Nice!

Goals this week...Still more senior stuff and budgets.  It doesn't end.  Lots of stuff to do with my graduates at home as well!

We Made It To MAY!

 Final stretch, peeps.  We are ALMOST there!  

How was your weekend?  It was SO nice out!  Friday night, Mr. Cal and I went out for dinner at Pepe's and then to Hobby Lobby.  What exciting lives we lead..haha!  Saturday we did some work around the yard, etc. to get ready for today (Pool Installation Day!!).  Saturday night we had friends over for a fire and yesterday we just sort of ran errands, etc.  My youngest started his caddie job yesterday, so he was gone most of the day.  

Saturday was Decision Day!  My senior is headed to Illinois State in the fall and will major in Special Ed (high school level so he can coach).  

Goals for the week?  Budget!  I thought it was due today, but it's really not due until the 12th, so I have some time.  I just want to get it done so it's out of the way.  That, and getting some senior stuff done.
