Tuesday Snacks?
What's your favorite snack?
Savory - I'm a popcorn junkie. I love popcorn. Not a huge fan of the microwave variety. There's sort of a greasy aftertaste that accompanies it, but I do make homemade quite a bit.
Sweet - I make a microwave s'more as my go-to sweet snack. If I slice the marshmallow in half and use no sugar added chocolate chips, it isn't too bad and I can have two of them. Score!

Monday! Short Week..
Good Morning! Happy Monday! It's kind of like our Tuesday, right? Spring Break starts on Friday.
How was your weekend? Mine was sort of uneventful. Didn't do much. Had a NCAA event to go to on Saturday. That was fun and it was something I wasn't involved in the planning/execution of. I feel like that's a first. It was nice to just get up and leave when we were ready and not have to stay for cleanup, etc.
Lots to do this week before we leave. I need to find where early voting is, need to pack, need to get my sub plans together, need to get some things in the mail, etc.

Walter went to the groomer on Saturday and came home with a bow around his neck. I can't stand his cuteness, so I will share/force it upon you!

Tasty Tuesday
It's almost Easter. My favorite candy is Easter candy. Jelly Beans? I ADORE jelly beans. Cadbury Eggs? I want them ALL. Everything from the Fannie May Easter offerings. All. Of. It. Even the crappy marshmallow/chocolate eggs that come in the egg carton for a buck. Love it.
I just can't have it anymore. Such a diabetic bummer. Oh well, I shall live vicariously through you all!

Nice weekend! Fish Fry (we made almost $3K for St. Joe's Athletic Association!) and Senior Night on Friday, Varsity awards on Saturday, soaking up the sunshine on Sunday!
What are your goals for the week? Lordy, I've got a lot on the list this week. Trying to get pool stuff, budget stuff, vacation stuff, baseball stuff, and school stuff all done this week. We'll see how we do!

March Madness! I don't follow college hoops too much, but I'm all in when it comes to March Madness! Excited to watch games!
Tonight is my son's senior night for hockey. Last night was the banquet. Hockey has been a part of our lives for over ten years. It's a little sad when I think of this season of our lives coming to a close.
The sun is out! Weather looks to be in our favor this weekend.
I stayed up late making this lottery ticket raffle thing for a fundraiser tonight. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.
Also, this is a picture of Walter roughly two minutes after I gave him a new toy. Granted, the toy was from the dollar store, but I did expect it to last more than two minutes.

Tuesday - Dreams?
Do you have dreams? Not aspirations, but sleep dreams? Do you remember them? Do you ever have a dream and when you wake up, you are SO relieved that it was a dream?? I had one the other night. I was getting the 2nd vaccine, but doing so meant I had to travel to space? So odd. There were several of us from here that were going, but Mr. LaBanca was my travel partner. There were all these checklists and I kept getting freaked out about everything and I wasn't sure I wanted to go to begin with. When I woke up, I was rattled for sure and SO thankful it was just a dream.

Monday, Monday!
Monday...back at it! How was your weekend? Uneventful over here. Got my vaccination on Friday and it wound up knocking me down on Saturday. Didn't even go to my friend's annual St. Patrick's Day party. Still felt like garbage yesterday. For sure feel better today, but now I feel like I didn't accomplish anything over the weekend.
So...goals for the week? Lots of little things I need to wrap up before we leave for Florida. I realize it's 16 days away, but I made Spring Break a mental deadline for a lot of things.

It's cleaning lady day! I love it when my cleaning lady is here. She comes every three weeks and I love the smell of Fabuloso!
Piggy backing on that, I don't cook on days when Eva (my cleaning lady) is here, so double yay!
It's vaccine day! Also, I think I'm going to do some thrifting after. I like the Goodwill in Bolingbrook.
St. Patrick's day party tomorrow at a friend's house.
Tree stump being removed from my yard today in preparation for the pool install.

Tickled Tuesday
What's the last thing that made you laugh? Like really belly laugh....
I'll go first. I've talked about how my older son plays hockey. He's played since he was seven and on his very best day, he's mediocre. He totally knows this and fully owns it. My younger son makes fun of him and as much as I try to hold it back, it's funny. Legit belly laugh. I feel bad, but he's so funny!

Motivational Monday! Goals?
Hello! It's Monday! It's Spirit Week! It's going to be 65 today! SIXTY. FIVE. It's already so nice that I've got a window open in my room.
How was your weekend? Mine was busy and fun. It ALMOST felt sort of normal. I'll say, though...I'm exhausted! I REALLY wanted to sleep in this morning.
Birthday celebration for a friend and a hockey game on Friday, errands and getting ready for Walter, another fun birthday-ish celebration on Saturday. Yesterday we ran more errands, picked up Walter from the Humane Society in Chicago Heights, and then I went to the city last night with friends to the Schitt's Creek pop-up and then out for tacos. Super fun weekend!

Another Find The Difference puzzle for you today. I thought this one was kind of hard. Took me a while. 2:25 min, but then I couldn't find the last one and I had to use a hint, which added 30 seconds. So....just under three minutes for me.

TikTok Tuesday!
TikTok made me do/buy it! What have you done/bought because you saw it on Tik Tok.
Oh, Lordy. TikTok is SUCH a time sucker for me, but I have to admit, I get some decent ideas from it. Here's the latest thing I saw that I immediately had to have. This arrived on Sunday. Sort of bummed. It worked, but def not as efficiently as the one in the TikTok I was watching! So....that one was a fail!
