Pizza! PIzza! Tuesday

Well, normally pizza is reserved for Fridays in the Cal house.  We have pizza every Friday in some capacity....delivery, carry out, in the restaurant, homemade, frozen, english muffin pizzas, calzones, deep dish, etc.  What do you like on your pizza?  Me?  If I'm making my own personal one, it's pepperoni & black olives.  That's my go-to.  I'm also a fan of sausage & green olives.  However, I'm the only olive fan in the Cal house, so if I don't get to make my own, I'm fine with sausage or pepperoni.

It's Palindrome week!  What is Palindrone, you ask??  It's where the date can be read the same forwards and backwards.  What a time to be alive, right?  

 

Anyhow, how was your weekend?  Mine was nice.  Ran some errands on Friday with my older son, went to the Fetching Market at the Lansing Airport on Saturday, my younger son had a baseball game Saturday afternoon, Saturday night we went to a wedding.  My BFF's daughter got married.  It was super fun.  Sunday was pretty chill.  Early morning baseball games and then had my in-laws over for dinner.  We booked our house for Maui!  Yay! We're renting a house that used to be owned by Fleetwood Mac!  Cal's are gonna be all boujee....

Back at it this week.  Kind of a dreary morning.  I hope that changes.  Lots on the agenda this week that needs to be checked off the list.  Monday can't be a bummer day :(

Here's what I'm feeling good about today....

• It's nice out!  I love sleeping with the windows open!
• Another wedding this weekend.  This time, it's my BFF's daughter getting married.  Should be FUN!
• My house is clean!  Yesterday was "Eva" day.  I love it when my cleaning lady is at the house!
• I sort of have a free night.  I have an appt. at the Apple Store in Orland, but beyond that I'm free!

I can't decide whether I feel like I've been gone forever, or if I feel like I just left.  Is it possible for both??

How was your holiday weekend?  

Mine was super fun.  I'm SO tired, though.  We got home around 5 last night.  Once we got unpacked, laundry started, etc., my two MORON sons decided to play catch with a REAL baseball in the backyard and broke my big picture window in our back room.  So, that led to an evening cleaning up all the broken glass, going to Home Depot for plywood, boarding up the window, etc.  Good times in the Cal house.  You should have been there!  

South Carolina is so pretty.  We were in the mountains.  LOVED it!  The wedding was beautiful and it was awesome to be with family!
