I'm going to give myself a gold star this week for two things.
1) I'm pretty proud of myself for the way I handled the whole social media thing on Monday. I had to step up and be a leader, confronting one friend and try to do my best to do what's right by other friends. It's hard when you have to take a role in a situation that is uncomfortable. Trust me, I RUN away from conflict. I'm kind of proud at the way I handled it.
2) There is this lady who does not like me at all. I actually forget that she doesn't like me, so my first instinct is to smile and say hi to her (she's the wife of someone I work with in Homewood Baseball and with St. Joe's). When I greet her, she gives me such nasty looks and turns the other way. Part of me laughs a bit about this, because I've never done anything to her and I think it's just plain silly. So...I sort of made it my life's purpose to be ridiculously nice to her....sort of kill her with kindness. Guess what??? It worked! She was forced to have a conversation with me over the weekend and I think she doesn't hate me anymore! Yay! Now let's be clear about something....I don't have any interest in being buddy-buddy with her in any way, shape, or form. But....I'm giving myself a gold star in hopes that maybe next time she sees me and I say hi to her, she doesn't look at me like she's
shooting flames into my soul! Yay Me!

Multimedia 1/2 - GET YOUR STUFF TURNED IN! There are a bunch of missing assignments in Google Classroom. Get them turned in! Also, our next project is a fun one. You will be "shrinking" yourselves and putting yourself with everyday items. Here are a couple of examples....

Yearbook - The Code Red Lockdown drill is likely to take place with your class. Remember what we discussed yesterday. Sit on the floor in the corner, be a silent as possible, put your phones away, be good for the sub! Thank you!
